Each form in this packet must be completed in full electronically. NO HANDWRITTEN FORMS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
In addition to the forms, applications must include the following to be considered: Board of Directors list, containing required information and Fiscal Documents

The Oswego City-County Youth Bureau is pleased to request applications for funding to support programs for Oswego County youth that provide services, opportunities and supports designed to improve youth and community outcomes in the Life Areas outlined by the Touchstones framework. The 6 Life Areas include: Economic Security; Physical and Emotional Health; Education; Citizenship; Family and Community. The goals and objectives are related to each other and call for comprehensive strategies to address any single aspect of children and family well-being.
For 2021 the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau will administer Youth Development (YDP) and Runaway & Homeless Youth (RHY) funding from the New York State Office of Children and Family Services Bureau of Youth Development.
Oswego City-County Youth Bureau grants are awarded to non-profit organizations and Oswego County municipalities that will operate to meet goals identified in the Touchstone Life Areas, and the Oswego County Children and Family Services Plan.

October 1 Request for Proposals Released
October 16th 1-page summaries are due (must be completed in full)
December 1st Proposals due electronically
December 4th - 15th Program Committee meets as necessary to review proposals and make
recommended allocations. Request face to face meetings
December 16th Program Committee presents Youth Bureau Board of Directors
allocations. Board votes on allocations.
January 1st Contract Start Date
NOTE: At this time no new funds have been allocated from NYSOCFS. We are basing numbers on 2019 funding. The Program Committee will be looking at applications and making decisions for 2021. Funding is based on New York State allocation and approval.
